Bangunin is built to need as little of your data as possible. There is no account, and the app does not run its own servers. Here is exactly what happens with your information.
You don't sign up. Bangunin doesn't ask for your name, phone number, or email to use the app. Your alarms, streaks, and settings are stored only on your device.
Some missions ask you to take a photo (for example, of the sky) or to move your phone (for example, squats). This is checked on your device only:
If you set your own audio or video as an alarm sound, that file stays on your device and is used only to play your alarm. It is not uploaded.
If you enter your email in the waitlist form on our website, we use it for one thing: to email you when Bangunin launches (and to send early-access offers). Waitlist emails are handled by our form provider, Formspree. You can ask us to delete your email at any time (see Contact).
Subscriptions are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their own terms and privacy policies. We receive confirmation that a subscription is active, but we do not receive or store your payment card details.
We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage events (for example, "an alarm was created") to understand how the app is used and improve it. These events are not tied to your identity and do not include the contents of your photos, sounds, or missions.
Bangunin is intended for students and general users. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
